Children's Literature Podcasts

As an aspiring elementary school librarian, I think it is important to have many resources regarding books for children. Children (like adults) learn in different ways and print is definitely not the only way to find information. I used Google.com to search for podcasts about children's literature. There are many websites with podcasts about children's literature and authors of children's books so I will discuss the two I liked best.

StoryNory
One of them is http://www.storynory.com/. At storynory, students can listen to stories and read the text at the same time. There are many stories to choose from. There are fairy tales, original stories and educational stories. Children can listen to stories and leave comments. And the stories are read by a woman named Natasha, who has a charming British accent.

Children's Book Radio
Another website, http://www.childrensbookradio.com/ has interviews with authors. Children can listen to the podcast interviews for information about their favorite authors. Share these sites with children that you know.
